Designer Babies

A fertility clinic in Los Angeles is now offering designer babies. With DNA testing, the clinic can examine various embryos and select the one that meets your designer baby criteria. For example, you can select the embryo that has the DNA traits of green eyes and blonde hair. The other embryos that don’t meet your aesthetic criteria can be flushed down the drain.
This is a variation of eugenics, not an entirely bad concept. However, it seems that this service simply points out aesthetic characteristics and not important ones like intelligence, family medical history, attractiveness, etc.
