BlackAtlas.com Visits Tulsa

American Airlines has launched BlackAtlas.com a web portal specific for African American travelers. I am not quite sure why African Americans need their own travel portal, but here it is.

Currently there is no word if American Airlines is considering other race specific portals. I imagine WhiteAtlas – Your Passport to the White experience would not be allowed. Obviously, such a portal would be HATE and RACIST. But maybe it would be OK with other races.

YellowAtlas – Asian

RedAtlas – Native American

BrownAtlas – Hispanic

  1. So funny yo. Shame you didn't get to taste the chicken or show off dem saggy drawers.

This is just messed up on so many levels to me. Do blacks really do want their own box of black corn flakes, their own special black starbucks? maybe their own water fountains & their own seats in a special place on the bus too. All I see is Jim Crow 2010 PC edition.

Yes when I visit Africa I'll need to find Japanese restaurants & an Irish pub. Link to GOLDAtlas portal please.

  2. The pandering to African Americans is done for political, not commercial reasons. Obviously, there is no need to have a race specific travel portal. African Americans that travel are quite capable of using Internet websites (such as Priceline, Travelocity, Expedia, etc.) that are not race specific. If you look at BlackAtlas.com content, you can see that it has been an epic fail. They are lucky to get 1,000 views on a video.

But corporations realize that Cultural Marxism is the officially ideology of the State. And in that ideology, White people are evil and Blacks are good. As such, BlackAtlas is an attempt to demonstrate how the corporation fully embraces the politically correct point of view. The audience for these efforts is not the general Black population. The target audience is political organizations such as the SPLC. This is an attempt to appease those professional race-based shake down artists.

  3. Hate to disagree, but I have dealt with lots of these situations. It's not political (businesses are not political by nature) but rather, well, business. Smart businesses are aware of social trends and try to stay on top of them. It's all about the bottom line. I mean really, I'll sell my soul (and do!) if the price is right. I'd say American Airlines is running a smart business. Even if the numbers of black visitors to their site is minimal, it can't hut trying.
