Streaker Killed by Zero Tolerance

A sad story of how feminist inspired "zero tolerance" laws ruin lives.

A popular 15-year-old student  has committed suicide after he reportedly faced expulsion and being placed on  the sex offenders’ register simply for streaking at a high school football  game.

Christian Adamek, from Huntsville, Alabama,  hanged himself on October 2, a week after he was arrested for running naked  across the Sparkman High football field during a game.

Charged as a Sex Offender

Now this song would be considered to be a RAPE song:

  1. I have to disagree with you a bit on this one. If I were the principal of the school, I would definitely expel him. If he wants to engage in that shit he can do it at another school, especially considering there were children present etc.

A lot of crazy shit became "acceptable" by the mid-60s and 70s (including second-wave feminism), so I don't think that's a good argument.

However, the sex offender registration is 10 miles over the top. The fact that they consider this to constitute "sexually predacious" behavior is an insult to people who have been victimized by real predators, let alone the fact that it completely destroys this kid's life. I'd agree to kicking someone out of a given school for that stupid behavior, but really?

Then again if you research the sex offender registry you'll find all sorts of ridiculous cases similar to this one (e.g. 18 year old put on it because he had sex with his 16 year old girlfriend that he later married) because of how broad the definition of "sex offense" is.

  2. I read this story a few days ago and felt so sorry for this kid.
The Principle will have been fully aware of what effect the consequences of his narrow minded stupidity would have on the rest of this kid's life. I can only hope the local community is a close one and will know what to do.
As for there being other children present; I come from a very conservative time and background, and at no time would this event have produced anything more than a giggle from me or my fellow schoolmates.

    1. If we want to play the generalization game, I come from a very liberal background and my mother was traumatised as a little girl by a public exhibitionist.

Your personal experience is irrelevant. Bad behavior is bad behavior and should be punished. I got expelled from J-kindergarten for pulling the fire alarm, despite having a great many giggles all around by my classmates.

  4. streaking = wanting attention
He got the attention he wanted, then decided he didn't like it.
People who kill themselves don't need a "good" reason.
    They just need a reason.
This kid's "punishment" is not what killed him.
    He did that to himself.
Just one more weak, coddled child among many being raised in our
    morally deficient society.

  5. I attended an all boys' school in England in the 1960s. Acting stupid like this kid got you a personal visit to the headmaster's office where 6 whacks were administered to the backside. I had to bend over that couch several times. We'd check the bruises afterwards in a mirror. Everybody got caned at least once.

  6. So the kid streaked. He was fifteen. Nobody here made any poor decisions as an adolescent, maybe even a really hilarious one? Yes, he hanged himself, and no, it wasn't because of any perceived weakness, unless you mean his inability to equally face the extreme charges being pressed against him. Again, he was fifteen. Plenty of teenagers commit suicide - that's not an isolated incident or the start of a trend. Some over less, some over more. I think saying he "deserves what he gets" here is about as insane and needlessly callous as trying to put him on the sex offender registry. Jesus Christ, are people really so out of touch since the advent of the Internet? A kid is dead because of a harmless (yes, it was harmless, don't split hairs over kids unless you intend to sue the NFL for its multiple grievances) prank; rather, because they wanted to end his life before it had even begun, as punishment. How would this story have played out about twenty years ago, eh? Weird how poppycock "political" influences can alter peoples' minds in a few short years.
