SPLC and Defamation

I typically hate to do shows about my show. But it seems that the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) decided to steal a copyrighted image from one of my videos and place it on the front of their commercial magazine (see below). Of all my videos, they chose to steal an image of me when I was playing a role of a gangster wearing a hoodie.  The purpose of the video (see video below) was to MOCK such thugs. As they watch many of my videos, they obviously know I am not a hoodie wearing gangster. Yet they intentionally (and I believe maliciously) decided to portray me in such a manner. In legal terms that is a pretty clear case of libel.

As if that were not enough, for good measure they placed a swastika on top of my head.

For the record, I have no criminal history. And I belong to no political organizations. I also have never belonged to any "NAZI" party. In fact, I block people that make NAZI references on the comments of my videos.

Their goal is they want to silence those that mock The Left. Fuck them.

  1. Seems like libel/defamation to me. I'm sorry, I hope that you're able to make them remove it.

    1. Don't stop there. Get damages. They've got deep pockets and a good lawyer should make it rain.

    2. I want an apology and financial compensation. Mostly the financial compensation is to make them think twice about engaging in such defamation again.

  2. Why are you sweating this?
Besides being the butt of countless jokes in all corners of politics, the SPLC has no teeth. They can't sick the IRS on you, they can't get the FBI or Homeland [in]Security to break your door down and lock you in a torture dungeon, and they can't have you assassinated while jerking off to Japanese porn.

Go get yourself a nice gilded bronze figurine on a marble base and display that trophy with pride.

    1. I am not sweating this. That is the job of my lawyers to figure this all out and determine the proper compensation.

    2. Sorry about the miss-read. I'm so used to chuckling at the SPLC that it just didn't cross my mind looking at the cover that they were intentionally libeling you, as clearly they are. The cover reminded me of a Mad Magazine cover.

Considering a small, yet significant, number of very wealthy backers (including the US government and major MSM outlets) put considerable stock in the legitimacy of the SPLC, you clearly have a case of libel.

When you win your lawsuit, make sure to do a few videos from the beaches of the Virgin Islands and make sure to say "brought to you by the generous funding of the SPLC.

  3. Suing the SPLC has successfully been done in the past: http://www.taldf.org/ProfessorLewysReputationRestored.html

Suing the ADL has also been doable:

    1. Legally, this is not a political matter. You are not allowed to knowing and maliciously defame someone. If they can prove that I have a violent criminal record, then the truth will be their defense. Otherwise, I think they are fucked.

  4. Sue the effing pants off of them. Morris [Sleaze] Dees bank accounts alone, could make you a zillionaire!

  5. I will investigate my legal options. In my opinion, it is a pretty clear cut case of libel. Based on the SPLC's own prior statements, they know I am not a hoodie wearing gangster. But they chose to portray me like I was a gun toting criminal. Sounds like malicious intent to me. But I will have my lawyer figure that all out.

  6. I know you were being sarcastic but if you really are concerned about Alzheimer's, the blood pressure medication Diovan was shown in a study with a sample population of several thousand to be effective in slowing down and/or stopping the onset of Type II Diabetes as well a Altzheimers's. Info available on Wikipedia.

  8. Go get them RamZPaul!

Also, congratulations on making the list, it means you're doing the right thing. It may be harder to prove libel, as it's just an image, with no context, They're leaving it to the reader to make of it what they will and not saying anything.

But still, go for it. Go get them.

  9. Sue the bastards! Jeez, wouldn't it be great to see the biters bit? But wait, if it goes to a Federal court, well, we all know about the judges there. They must be of a certain ethnic group or else in on the game. On reflection, cancel the lawsuit.

  10. I hope you really do go after them. Too bad the ACLU doesn't live up to its name and offer you pro-bono representation, but they're lefty political hacks in bed with Dees and Potok.
