A Diversity Wonderland

WASHINGTON (AP) - Ousted NPR analyst Juan Williams said Friday that he believes his former employer had been looking for a reason to fire him and used comments he made this week about Muslim airline passengers as an excuse to do so. Meanwhile, a U.S. senator said he would start the ball rolling to cut federal funding to the network. http://www.wtop.com/?sid=2087729&nid=114 First Hispanic-American Rick Sanchez was fired by CNN for suggesting that John Stewart’s ethnic group is not exactly oppressed. And now African-American Juan Williams is fired for admitting that he gets nervous seeing Muslims board a plane. Ahhhh… the joys of Diversity Wonderland. It seems that our media overlords are not tolerant of free speech.   You can have Liberty or you can have Diversity. The two concepts are mutually exclusive.

Nationalism Versus Globalism

A recent gallop poll shows that Obama approval rating among blacks, 91 percent; among whites, 36 percent. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2010/10/obama-approval-gallup-blacks.html African-Americans overwhelming support Obama because he is one of them. And it is natural and good for people to support their own people. It is an innate desire of most of mankind to have self-determination. Self-determination allows an ethnic group or culture to determine its own direction and create a society that holds the values that are common amongst a people. Throughout history, this desire of self-determination has been realized through the creation of nations. However, countries are only stable and successful if the people share common bonds. Diversity in a country creates strife and tension. Despite the Globalist propaganda, diversity within a country is not a strength.
