Sad that California is so intolerant that they are only teaching the historical accomplishments of gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals and transgender. April 15 is the Day of Silence in our schools. This is a time when advocates for equality continue to claim that certain groups are more equal than others.  http://www.indianastatesman.com/advocates-for-equality-to-sponsor-day-of-silence-1.2162099 Advocates for Equality to sponsor Day of Silence ISU students will gather at the fountain Friday, using silence to send a message of protest. The National Day of Silence is observed nationwide every April 15 by students who wish to bring attention and an end to the bullying, harassment and abuse of LGBT individuals in their schools. Friday will mark the end of a week of awareness activities sponsored by Advocates for Equality. The student organization also participates in Miss Gay ISU and National Coming Out Day. Leading up to the Day of Silence, Advocates for Equality also showed the film "Prayers for Bobby" and held a "Safe Zone" workshop.

Per the BBC: Gay rights activists have protested at a north German zoo's plans to test the sexual orientation of six male penguins which have displayed homosexual traits http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4264913.stm I was able to confirm that the Tulsa Zoo has a homosexual penguin. And that the zoo has broken apart homosexual couples to attempt to get them to mate with icky girl birds. I am surprised that this scandal in Tulsa has not yet made national news. Please call your congress things and give your support for gay penguin marriage.

A controversy erupted when Miss USA contestant, Carrie Prejean, was asked a question if she supported gay marriage. She said that she did not personally support gay marriage. This caused Perez Hilton (a gay guy) to have a hissy fit. There is so much wrong with this on so many levels. Why do we care what a Miss USA contestant thinks of gay marriage? Why do we have a guy that does not find women to be sexually attractive as a judge in a beauty pageant? Why must all beauty contestants look like men in drag?
