Sen. Menendez Concerned About Freedom

Image
Seems like a senator from New Jersey is "concerned" about Holocaust Denial. Seems to me that the senator would be happier back in Cuba. That way he would not have to worry about people having "bad" thoughts. http://belleville.patch.com/articles/menendez-concerned-about-growing-anti-semetism

Think Before You Speak - MYFB edition

Image
The AdCouncil is running a series of videos telling you what you are allowed to say in private conversations. In response, I am suggesting that run a new awareness campaign - MIND YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS (MYFB).

Stop Facebook Intolerance!

Image
Here is an issue that is dear to my heart. As you all know, I support Free Speech. But Free Speech does not mean Hate Speech. And Hate Speech includes such things as Holocaust Denial and Denial of the the authority of the Pope. As a tolerant society we can not tolerate people who deny the Holocaust or the authority of the Pope. Such people should be made to recant or face punishment. http://digitallife.today.com/_news/2011/07/27/7181440-holocaust-survivors-ask-facebook-to-ban-denial-pages

A Defense of Soulja Boy

Image
It seems that a Soulja Boy got into trouble for calling people "faggots" who were on his Facebook page trolling him. He later claimed that these comments were made by a "hacker." Hmmmm... yeah. Anyway, I actually agreed with his comments. If you don't like his work, get the fuck off his page. But the Politically Correct commissars were up in arms with him saying "faggot." t’s been an unfortunate week for entertainers talking reckless, as both Tracy Morgan and Soulja Boy  have been tied to homophobic diatribes. Morgan angered many at a standup gig in Tennessee when he went on a tirade against gay men and women while performing in front of a Nashville audience. Days later Soulja Boy found himself under the gun for allegedly making what was deemed racist and homophobic remarks against users on his Facebook page. The Atlanta rapper has stepped forward today to address the matter noting that his FB account had been hacked. A message was initially posted on ...

Tenn. law bans posting images that "cause emotional distress"

Image
A new Tennessee law makes it a crime to post an image that is likely to "frighten, intimidate or cause emotional distress" to anyone who sees it. Violators could face almost a year in jail or be fined up to $2500. http://www.examiner.com/conservative-in-spokane/tennessee-law-bans-posting-internet-images-that-cause-emotional-distress Politicians that sign laws to restrict my First Amendment rights "frighten" me and cause me "emotional distress". And as the law is based on how a person "feels", I am officially notifying Tennessee that seeing a picture of their governor, Bill Haslam, has caused me emotional distress. I demand that Tennessee follow their laws and immediately arrest the governor.  This image has caused "emotional distress"

Hitler Ringtone Lands German Man In Jail

Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past. George Orwell http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/07/01/world/main6636780.shtml A German man annoyed fellow train passengers even more than normal recently by receiving incoming calls on his cell phone, which had a speech by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler as its ringtone. Now, the man could face as long as six months in prison for the Nazi ringtone he programmed into his phone.

Silencing Political Speech

Image
I consider the censorship of political speech to be one of the worst manifestations of tyranny. Once we are not allowed to speak as free men, all our other freedoms are doomed. This subject has been in the news recently concerning Obama’s spat with Rush Limbaugh. While I am not a huge fan of Rush, I absolutely believe he has the right to criticize the government. The fact that Obama suggested otherwise was quite chilling. While I was thinking about blogging about this topic today, I was notified by YouTube that my Race and Illegitimacy video was removed. The video discussed the issue of how illegitimacy is not based on race, but it is produced by government policies that enable the behavior. While welfare destroyed the Black father in the 1960s, child support has been destroying the White father in recent years. The topic of a lack of fathers has been debated in many countries. Obama has often talked about the need of fathers. So this is not exactly a new issue. Well, it seems some unw...
