Here is a video of a woman who received a Life sentence because she allowed a 13 year old boy to touch her breasts. Under Nevada law, any lewd conduct with a child under the age of 14 receives an automatic Life sentence. Obviously the sentence is crazy. However, many men are subject to such out of control laws without a peep of publicity. For example, if a man should get caught urinating in the woods, he could be arrested and forever labeled as a “sex offender”. These crazy laws were passed based on a hysterical fear of child predators. Historically, true sexual predators were subject to extreme penalties. No new laws were necessary. But based on estrogen fueled hysteria reminiscent of the Salem witch hunts, draconian laws were introduced and legal protections for the accused were scrapped.

Here is a recent video in which President Obama engages in what is called Identity Politics. Identity Politics is making an appeal to a group of people based on their identity – such as race, sex, etc. This is in contrast to appealing to individuals based on ideas. The Democratic Party tends to encourage the notion that certain groups (such as African-Americans, Mexicans, etc.) should vote as a block in racial solidarity. Such a strategy has been quite effective as African Americans tend to vote 95%+ for the Democratic Party. Of course, no politician would dare suggest that Whites should also engage in such identity politics. Such a notion would be met with cries of “hate” and “racism”. It is an obvious double standard that is not mentioned in polite company.

I was in Seattle last week, and I happened to talk to a girl who was part of a protest against China. It seems that Chinese government has launched a vicious campaign against people who practice Falun Gong. Falun Gong is a type of spiritual meditation that seems to be a mix of Buddhism and Yoga. However, the Communist government has deemed Falun Gong to be an evil cult. As such, the practitioners of Falun Gong are subject to arrest, torture and executions. Below is a picture of a Chinese girl who was arrested for the crime of meditating in public. And people wonder why I am anti-State.

The NCAA continues on its warpath to purge any Indian symbols from college sports. The most recently causality was William and Mary who just recently changed their Indian symbol to that of a griffin. http://www.wtopnews.com/?nid=600&sid=1927620 Indian symbols were originally selected by many universities as a way to pay homage to the bravery and warrior spirit of the Indians. No one wants to have a mascot that does not reflect positive qualities. As such, choosing an Indian as a symbol was a high form of flattery and respect. This holds true not only of Indians but of other ethnic groups. For example, the Vikings and the Fighting Irish are symbols that are meant to honor, not degrade, people of Scandinavian and Irish descent. The ultimate irony is that the extreme politically correct crowd is actually excluding all references to other ethnic groups save for Europeans. Of course, they are too stupid to see what they are doing. But it is amusing.

Democrats and a few Republicans revealed mounting numbers and unsettling details of threats against them Thursday in the emotional aftermath of the passage of the health care overhaul. Lawmakers uniformly condemned the harassment, but that's where the agreement ended. Two interesting stories over the past week. In Philly a flash mob composed of “youths” went on a rampage attacking businesses and people. She was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital” So what was the response to this flash mob? Again, a quote from the story – "Maybe the city should entertain kids to keep them from causing trouble." Now for a serious crime. In a New Jersey Walmart, a 16 year old kid got on the intercom and made an announcement that Blacks needed to leave the store. While on a road trip last week, I had the privilege to listen to talk radio. Years ago I used to listen to Rush Limbaugh during my afternoon commute. At the time, his show was funny and pretty irreverent. He was not scared to skew the politically corrects gods. Over the years I tuned talk radio out. I suppose that was mostly due to the advent of the Internet. After all, why should I just be a passive listener when the Internet allowed me to actually join the debate? So when I heard Rush again after a hiatus of many years, I was disappointed to hear how dull and boring his show had become. Gone was the sparkle and irreverent wit. The wit was replaced with a tedious lecture of parliamentary procedures and a bemoaning of how those evil Democrats won’t follow the Constitution.
