The Washington Post asks why there are so many empty churches. It is interesting because as Christianity becomes more "tolerant" it ceases to have meaning for many people. And, meanwhile, "intolerant" religions such as Islam are growing in the West. Christianity was not always a weak religion. Back in the day, the people would ruthlessly fight to defend Christendom. It looks like the Germanwings crash was caused by a suicidal pilot. And, no, there is no evidence that this was politically motivated. It seems that Andreas Lubitz was depressed. His girlfriend had recently dumped him and he had health issues that threatened his job of flying. What is interesting is that White men are much more likely to commit suicide than other races (except for American Indians). On the surface this sounds strange. After all, we are always told that White men have life on "easy mode" with invisible privileges. Logically, it would seem that the lesser privileged people should be more prone to suicide. My guess is that evolutionary differences  are to blame. White people tend to be better able at imagining the future and developing abstract ideas than other races. Yeah, my old ASUS laptop video card died yesterday. I was in the middle of a ranked Hearthstone game when the graphics went funky and the screen looked like something out of a bad 1969 acid trip. This hardware error caused me to lose the game. The death of my laptop "triggered" many hurtful emotions. But then I decided to brave and remember that what does not kill us only makes us stronger. The good news is this gave me an excuse to get a new computer. But you know what a hassle it is to get a new computer configured just right. So pray for me as I attempt to load my new video editing application, anti-virus software and assorted Japanese pr0n links. I should have a new video (edited with Pinnacle Studio 18) on Monday.
