2010 Census
Rep. Michele Bachmann was on a morning talk show in which she stated that she was opposed to answering some of the more personal questions (such as race) required by the 2010 census. Both the media pundits on the Left and Right went bat shit insane. After all, we MUST OBEY THE STATE!
Michele Bachmann mentioned (correctly) how the census data was used by FDR in 1942 to round up Japanese Americans and place them in concentration camps. The blonde bimbo reporter freaked out about this statement and responded that the government did this years ago and obviously the government has never done anything like that with the census data since that time.
Here is a link provided by the Freedom of Information Act which shows that as recently as 2004, the State has used census data to track people based on their racial background.
