Some Time Travel

I love to read old magazines. Reading old magazines is a way to time travel into the past to see how the world looked. What is great is that you can learn history from looking at the actual media that was read by the people of that time. Far too often historians or “educators” will provide a spin of an era through a lens of current mores and propaganda. By looking at the source material from that time, you can bypass the current fashions and prejudices and gain a better understanding of how America actually looked during a specific era.



For better or worse, America has been radically transformed since the year of my birth (1963). By browsing through these magazines you can see how much has changed.
