The State proposes a carbon allowance
As part of the battle against “climate change”, Britain’s Environment Agency has proposed that everyone be given a “carbon allowance” which will be tracked every time a person uses carbon such as buying gasoline or booking a flight. If you should exceed your carbon allowance (as determined by the State) you face fines and penalties.

Of course, as the war against “climate change” can never be won, this is a perfect excuse for the State to further increase the control they have over you.
Many environmentalists are watermelons – green on the outside but red on the inside.
