A Holiday Hate Road Trip
The Federal Reserve has forced employees of the Payne County Bank in Perkins, OK, to stop wearing American Family Association (AFA) Christmas buttons, and threatened managers with filing a complaint with the Department of Justice. The buttons depict an image of Mary cradling the baby Jesus and say “Merry Christmas – God with us.”
Additionally, all religious imagery was banned, and had to be removed under threat of prosecution. The bank was forced to remove a daily Bible verse from its website, and picture frames with Bible verses and crosses had to be taken down. Even paintings by renowned artist Thomas Kinkade were included in the forced removal.
