U.S.: Osama used wife as human shield

It is amusing to watch the official government spin on a story. Initially the government story was that the Seals engaged in a pitch battle with Osama's men and the evil villain used his own wife as a human shield. Osama was killed in a gun fight.

Then the story changed. It seems that Osama was unarmed and no one was used as a human shield. The woman that was killed was not his wife.

Now it seems that an unarmed Osama was captured and executed on the spot.

In less formal remarks last night, Obama offered a similar sequence, describing "an operation that resulted in the capture and death of Osama bin Laden."

"Capture and death."

Not sure where the Constitution grants the President the power to assassinate people. But I am sure the flag waving Republicans are OK with it. They deserve the government they get.
