Richard Dawkins Gets into a War with Feminists

Funny story of an Internet fight between Richard Dawkins and feminists.  It seems that a young female attendee to one of his atheist conferences was asked by an awkward (but polite) young man to join him for coffee. In the world of normal women, this is no big deal. If you are not interested, you just say No Thank You and forget about it.  But the atheist woman mention this incident in one of her videos.

Richard commented that this was no big deal, and that women have real things to worry about instead of worrying about being offered a date. His response created OUTRAGE from the usual feminists. Because in their minds, a man (that is not deemed attractive enough) asking a woman for a date is a sexual crime. These feminists complain that such behavior "sexualizes" them. Of course these same feminists celebrate being a "slut" via "slut walk" parades and the like. They are EMPOWERED and STRONG. But then when asked politely for a date from a man that they have no interest, they suddenly become a Victorian Damsel in Distress.

The irony is that Christianity (which is despised by feminists and atheists) provided a formal structure that regulated sexual and romantic interactions. This process was called courtship. A Gentleman did not speak to an unknown woman unless he was properly introduced. Feminists called this "controlling" and demanded sexual liberation.

Now, without irony, many young feminists are asking for such sexual restraints and controls to return.

Richard Dawkins and the Victim of a Coffee Proposition

Richard Dawkins made an unexpected appearance in the comments section of biologist PZ Myers' post at Scienceblogs.com last week. Myers was commenting on Rebecca Watson's recent experience being propositioned in a hotel elevator by a male attendee of a conference at which Watson had just spoken in Dublin. Dawkins got himself into hot water by commenting in the form of a sarcastic letter to a Muslim woman, pointing out how trivial Watson's experience in the elevator was compared to the abuses Muslim women deal with on a daily basis. "Stop whining will you. Yes, yes, I know you had your genitals mutilated with a razor blade, and...yawn...don't tell me again, I know you aren't allowed to drive a car, and can't leave the house without a male relative, and your husband is allowed to beat you, and you'll be stoned to death if you commit adultery," he wrote. "But stop whining, will you. Think of the suffering your poor American sisters have to put up with."

  2. Absurdities such as these make my being an atheist on the Right a tough sell to fellow patriots, though I always win them over in the end.

Based on her level of physical attractiveness and completely anti-Western world view (as evinced by her YouTube videos), I can reasonably conclude that Rebecca Watson is about as marriageable as a rabies-ridden porcupine. She's worth two or three sessions in the bedchamber at best.

In her written response to Richard Dawkins, she opens with:

"... Yes, Richard Dawkins believes I should be a good girl and just shut up about being sexually objectified because it doesn't bother him. Thanks, wealthy old heterosexual white man!"

That right there tells you everything you need to know about this wretch.

With respect to her standard feminist disposition toward arbitrarily considering any gesture that makes her feel even remotely uncomfortable as some sort of criminal predation, I'm reminded of a Japanese pornographic comic book I read once. In it, a young woman who suffers from virginitiphobia interprets everything her boyfriend says and does as an intent to rape her -- despite the fact that SHE ends up raping HIM at the end of every chapter.

    Can we say, "projection"?

  4. Hmh, how about just letting ditzy broads grow into graceless old spinsters? That'd work.

Last time I was propositioned some old hefer asked me if I could "give her a good screw". Guess I should have started an online campaign for decency or something. Truthfully, I couldn't say I felt "demeaned, aghast, sexualized" or any of that other hypersensitive horse manure folk are prematurely expulsing from their piehole these days.

The hell is wrong with people nowadays?

  5. I'm happy to see that PZ Myers comes down on the complete wrong side of this issue as prior to reading this post I had only ever read one other thing by him and it was enough for me to write this: PZ MYERS - INTELLECTUAL FAIL

    What a fucking toad.

  6. She looks like Amy Farah Fowler. She would probably rather have been offered a Rufi Colada, but not by a rich white man.
