Detroit school board head quits after complaint alleging inappropriate behavior
Detroit's Public School Board President was ousted after he masturbated in a meeting.
DETROIT (AP) -- School board members refused Friday to reinstate the group's former president, who resigned a day earlier following allegations he fondled himself repeatedly in front of the district's superintendent.
Otis Mathis was given a letter stating his request for reinstatement had been denied.

What is interesting is that some of the other school board members wanted to re-instate Otis Mathis. Per below:
Some board members told the Free Press that they did not want Mathis to return, but one member, the Rev. David Murray, said he would be happy for Mathis to return and that Mathis took responsibility for his bad behavior toward Gueyser.
“He’s a young man; maybe he didn’t know it was offensive to her,” Murray said of the 55-year-old Mathis. “It’s not something I would do. He’s a young man. That’s just the way it is.”

A video I did a couple of years ago concerning Otis Mathis. There was a controversy as to if it is reasonable to expect the head of a school system to be able to read and write. The good people of Detroit thought that this was not necessary.

I must admit I have a Cosplay / Kristen Dunst fetish after seeing this video.
"Education" schools and PhDs are such a joke; even "progressives" are embarrassed by how low their admission standards are.

I don't want to get involved in the sex acts" part of this discussion. But I'm extremely fascinated by a video I saw about Otis Mathis and his problems with spelling.
He thinks he has a learning disability. I suspect the real problem is that he attended public schools which used flawed methods. Typically, that method is called Whole Word, Whole Language, Sight Words, Balanced Literacy, Dolch Words and now high-frequency words. None of this stuff works. The easiest way to help the people of Detroit is to get this nonsense out of the schools.
