Here is how a real army trains soldiers:
'Bravo Two Zero' is a good book, an account of SAS, serving behind the lines in the (first) Gulf War ( when warfare was still something of a masculine activity). Fearing being captured by the Iraqis after the shit hits the fan, one of the soldiers voices the maxim: 'at least they can't make you pregnant'. ('No, but they might try', is the worry provoked).
ReplyDeleteNever thought the US army would be getting its boys pregnant. Turning women into trained killers and men into pregnant mothers- this rather sums up all that is royally fucked up about the modern world. It is beyond parody, indeed. What would Napoleon say?

I honestly don't think women should be in the military except as nurses, secretaries, or entertainment for the men. And isn't the military for fighting? So even if women are allowed in the military, why would they be allowed to get pregnant during their tour of duty? How is a pregnant woman supposed to fight should she be called to war? That's insanity. The same should go for female police officers or firemen. No pregnancy as long as you have the job. You can't be a cop, fireman, or military if you're pregnant because you can't do the job.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the Chinese military have their soldiers wearing empathy bellies? Do they even have women in their military? No? Maybe they just aren't enlightened yet.
What is the point in training soldiers who cannot fight as soon as they do what comes naturally? This illustrates why women did not traditionally serve as soldiers. It also illustrates why evolution gave testosterone the effects of increased muscle mass and aggression so men could specialize in hunting and warfare which harder to do while encumbered by pregnancy and breast feeding, and would expose the baby to danger as well. Biology and evolution are so sexist, no matter how many laws we pass reality fails to conform to feminist fantasies.
ReplyDeleteThe Chinese do have women soldiers, and there were women in both the nationalist and communist Chinese armies that fought the Japanese. There is also a history of female soldiering in Russia. The Winter Palace was (unsuccessfully) defended against the Bolsheviks, during the Revolution, by a female soldiers, with the girly name of 'Women's Shock Batallion of Death'.

Interesting and I agree. Why aren't these male soldiers getting pissed off with this?
