Mars rover Curiosity safely lands on Mars




Curiosity, the largest and most advanced spacecraft ever sent to another planet, stuck its extraordinary landing Sunday night without a hitch and is poised to begin its pioneering two-year hunt for the building blocks of life — signs that Earth's creatures may not be alone in the universe.

  1. I would like to see an 'enhanced' Olympic Games. Where competitors can use any drug they like or maybe splice in genes from Kangaroos for jumpers or people can graft their bodies on to horses necks and compete in dressage. The possibilities are endless!
