Rand Paul - Last Stand for the American Republic



Rand Paul is filibustering. He is trying to stop Obama from gaining the power to secretly assassinate any American citizen without a trial.

The American I knew as a kid is pretty much gone. We are now becoming a full fledged Soviet styled one Party dictatorship.

I fear secession is now the only option.

This reminds me of the fictional filibuster in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Watching this makes me somewhat sad. Damn. Where have American men like James Stewart gone?

    Maybe Canadians had it right. One people under a King. All subjects, but free as such as individuals. And we can kill our King under Magna Carta if he goes wrong.

    In all seriousness, I think America have come to a point in history where a Coup d'État by the army may be in order. There is no longer any legitimare government in place.
