Boston lockdown: The new normal?
Amazing. Each terror attack leads us further down the road to a Police State. You are watching how liberty is lost.
The unprecedented manhunt in Boston that concluded successfully Friday night earned law enforcement authorities the gratitude of the nation.
But as relief replaces fear, the debate about what this episode means for the future is already beginning. And one of the most unsettling questions is whether the violence-related lockdown of a major U.S. city — an extraordinary moment in American history — sets a life-altering precedent.

Please consider doing a piece on the "Anti-Racist Hitler" video, the exposure is much needed, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI can understand you wanting to believe that Muslims were responsible rather than White Nationalist. But really, do you believe these two guys were anything other than patsies?
ReplyDeleteFor me, the simple rule is: If the guy is taken alive and is allowed to testify in court - then we can make an informed judgement regarding the likelihood of government skulduggery - or not.
ReplyDeleteIf he dies in custody, or survives, but is not given the chance for a proper trial - then all bets are off.
He is being treated by Israeli doctors, hmmm.

The Finns never miss a chance to play the victim card.
Oh, they're called Finns now. I've always referred to them as Scotsmen, even though their alphabet looks like hash tags. Thanks for the update.
DeleteI don't care about the Miranda rights of a Chechen terrorist. If we actually believe he is an American, we can charge him with treason. But I don't see him as an American, so I want a military tribunal.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, concerning Miranda rights, Miranda himself was stabbed to death in a bar fight after a string of arrests for various crimes a while after he was not convicted of rape due to a technicality. Of course, our culture was that much stronger back then that he was tried again and jailed for it. Today that would be called "double jeopardy" and he would walk free.
Don't forget: the Left loves criminals. Especially when they're minorities and their crimes contribute to the ethnic cleansing of formerly middle-class White neighborhoods.
I say strip Joker of his citizenship, relocate him to Gitmo, waterboard him, and send him up before a firing squad.
