Angelina Jolie urges UN to end rape in war zones
This is a cause that is important to me. For thousands of years men have raped during war. Why has this happened? Because no one thought to tell them that such behavior is NOT OK.
Luckily, we happen to have a beautiful actress that is the first person in history to determine that we can eliminate rape in war by saying IT IS NOT OK. Why no one in history ever thought of such a thing is a mystery.
While I support Angelina Jolie, I think we should take this further. Why should we eliminate rape in war but not killing? Isn't killing someone at least as bad as rape?
So RAMZPAUL has launched a BOLD initiative to eliminate KILLING in war. I am sure awareness and Facebook likes are the key to eliminate rape and killing.

When I read the title, I thought it meant that she wanted the UN to end *its own* troops' raping. That would have made more sense.

ReplyDeleteI am always amazed at how pompous these Hollywood actors are. She probably got her initial roles because she was cute and could somewhat memorize her lines and hit her mark. Based on that she now thinks she is some sort of Jesus character destined to save the world. It really is embarrassing.
If you look at how entertainers were traditionally treated in medieval Europe, it was a very modest career at best. Because we give a few pretty people who can spit lines out millions of dollars, they develop this bizarre messiah complex. In reality, people like Jolee would have never been this successful if not for mass media and Hollywood.
DeleteThey're also pretty useful to drag down the popular culture into degeneracy. Contrast Johann Sebastian Bach with Jay Z and you can see how far down things have gotten.
Come to think of it, according to http://goo.gl/RgpyZM, the average Western IQ has done down about 14 points since the end of the 19th century, or nearly a full standard deviation (for reference, the average successful university student of today is about 1 standard deviation above the average IQ (for an IQ of 100, that would be ~115).
At this rate it'll only be 100 years until we'll be truly equal to our African brethren!
Just curious - on that IQ measurement do they account for immigration? If not, it is not an Apples to Apples comparison. As Western countries have been "enriched" I am not surprised to see the average IQ decline. (Of course, Northeast Asian immigration could counter balance that trend.)
ReplyDeleteEven factoring in immigration, white IQ is 102-105 at best. The massive decline is due to dysgenic fertility, a combination of low fertility among high IQ people (thanks to feminism, women are becoming lawyers instead of mothers) and high fertility among low IQ people (thanks to the welfare state).
DeleteIt makes sense if you look at Samuel Morton's skull analysis. He's the guy that Gould attacked in his book "Mismeasure of Man". His skull capacity data put European skulls at 1426cm³ (which he recorded in the early 1800s), which is a full 78cm³ larger than the current European average of 1348cm³. For reference, he put sub-Saharan African skull capacity at 1278cm³, only 11cm³ larger than the current black average of 1267cm³.
As much as I'd like to be optimistic about the future (I'm young so I'll be living most of it), I suspect as a people we've put our greatest years behind us.
I agree with your premise. Higher IQ women tend to have fewer babies as they concentrate on their careers. (What a waste! As if some damn PowerPoint presentation is more important than our children.)
ReplyDeleteIf I was King, I would provide financial incentives for married women to have children. I would also require single mothers to be sterilized if they took welfare. We now reward the wrong behavior.
I don't know if financial incentives would help the scenario. I think the decline is primarily due to cultural reasons. It seems when a people lose their faith and confidence in their culture, they begin to die off.
DeleteFeminism, moral relativism and materialism have taken the place of the hearth and family. Libertarians often rail on about how everything will go back to the way it was if the government could simply shrink, but I don't think that's possible. It's like saying if Great Britain could retake its former colonies again, the British Empire would return in full force. The people that created that globe-spanning civilization simply do not exist anymore.

One third of Japanese people aged 30-35 were virgins, over half the country classified itself as "not seeing anyone".
Worst case scenario, us white men can escape the diversity and the feminists and marry up all these nice yellow ladies.
Emperor Vespasian offered incentives to get the upper classes of the Roman Empire to have more children. Vespasian was worried that the best and brightest were breeding below replacement rate while immigrants and plebes were growing in number. The plebes required the dole, free bread, and circuses to keep them calm.

Those Kalashnikov/machete wielding Congolese rapist thugs are going to be so embarrassed when the full import of Angelina's shaming message strikes home and they are forced to re-examine what their ancestors have been up to since time began.
