A Nation is not the dirt
The Republican establishment wets their collective pants over any dark skinned candidate that spouts the usual conservative buzzwords. Just say "freedom", "America", "God" and "greatness" and they will love you.
Dinesh D’Souza is some Indian born Republican that says all the right things. The fact his personal life does not match up to his rhetoric does not seem to disturb the average Republican. They get all teary eyed when seeing his video of America. Show a picture of a mountain and play some patriotic music and that is good enough for the average Republican dimwit.
As such, the Republican leadership is featuring this guy's newest patriotic, feel good movie tonight. Maybe that will get them in the mood for yet another middle eastern war.

Love it! I have to agree this doesn't feel like the "Land of the free" anymore. Spying on Americans. Corporations with more rights than actual people. Whitehouse scandal after scandal. War after war. Sending deadly weapons to foreign countries only to have them used against our troops. Police who act so fearful they shoot unarmed citizens or their pets. For example, a guy in california was shot by police because they thought his flute was a gun. Enough is enough.

ReplyDeleteRamZ, at the risk of exposing myself to your phenomenal wit, I wanted to tell you that I am the woman you reference in the video. I am a longtime fan of your blog though I haven’t watched for a few years. I just signed on again tonight and while scrolling the vids, saw this post. I must admit that it hurt to be mentioned in this context but I am well aware that I brought this on myself through my association, though not in the way everyone thinks. I just wanted to share with you a story I think you might enjoy.
ReplyDeleteLast year, knowing how much I admired your work, Dinesh asked me if I wanted you to be a guest on some radio show he was guest hosting. Somehow, he imagined that you would just die to have the chance to associate with him. Dinesh is a sad creature indeed and by that time, I knew it, but since I cared for him, I politely responded that I did not think you would be interested. I am glad to know I was right. Trust and believe that Dinesh knows he is a piece of shit slave trotted out for his skin color when it suits his betters. He is just trying to make a buck and get his name in any paper he can. He knows this better than even you and certainly, better than I initially realized. Nothing I was trying to do with him or his career could change that. So keep up the good work RamZ and keep cutting through the BS.
