Marxism did not fall in Russia - it just moved to the USA. The USA now maintains a secret list of political opponents (aka "terrorist suspects"). The secret police are authorized to investigate the books you read, the phone calls you make and the pictures you take.
Per a recent secret document that was leaked, the TSA agents at the airport are instructed to:
Screeners are also instructed to collect data on any “pocket litter,” scuba gear, EZ Passes, library cards, and the titles of any books, along with information about their condition—”e.g., new, dog-eared, annotated, unopened.”

And what exactly is the difference between modern America and the old Soviet Union? The color of the flag?
Government agents are now reporting on the books we are reading and the condition of those books. I am not sure how any reasonable person could consider the USA to be a "free" country.
It's a police state, as some of us have been pointing out for years.
