Marvel Turns Anne Frank Into A Muslim



OK, this has gone too far! Marvel Comics announced last week that they are changing one of my favorite childhood characters, Anne Frank, into a Muslim. Marvel cites the change as a need to reflect "demographic realities" and recognize the need to reach out to young Muslim readers. I get that. But why could they not just make a new Muslim character? Why did they have to change Anne Frank into a Muslim?
